BURNHAM Ramblers will be looking to complete a notable scalp this weekend – weather-permitting.
The Leslie Field club, who have had their last three games postponed, have a date at Ryman League division one north high-fliers Thurrock.
They beat the same opposition 3-2 back in late October.
And boss Keith Wilson will be hoping for a similar outcome when the sides face each other in the return match on Saturday.
“We rode our luck a bit but played really well that day,” he said.
“It was a fantastic result against one of the best sides we’ve played this season.
“We know we’ll have to be at our best but, after having recent games called off, we’re all raring to go.
“It’s been a frustrating time but the only consolation is that everyone’s in the same boat.”
