BURNHAM Ramblers match at the Oakside Stadium was abandoned.

Ramblers and Redbridge were locked at 2-2 at 90 minutes on Tuesday night when the referee called time on the Ryman League division one match.

A bad tackle on Ramblers’ Danny Cossington saw the player left injured on the pitch and having to wait for an ambulance to remove him.

The incident led to a mass brawl between the two sides, which saw fans jumping the fences.

After the dust had settled three red cards were brandished, with Ramblers’ Reece Brandon and the home side’s Abs Thompson and Aaron Matthews receiving their marching orders.

The visitors had opened the scoring through Neil Richmond with a goal on three minutes.

Richmond then doubled their lead eight minutes into the second half.

However, Liam Thomas and Kurt Smith pulled Redbridge level with goals on 66 and 77 minutes respectively, before the match was abandoned.
