Maldon and Tiptree fall to their second defeat of the season

LEADERS Maldon and Tiptree were condemned to their second defeat of the season.
Maldon lost out 2-1 in their Ryman League division one north encounter at Thamesmead Town.
It was the home side that took the lead in the 18th minute through Sean Roberts.
After the break, Jamie Guy equalised for Maldon from the penalty spot.
However, with five minutes to go Rob Carter's strike won the game for Thamesmead.
