Hawkes praises his Heybridge players

HEYBRIDGE Swifts manager Mark Hawkes praised his players.
Saturday’s 4-2 Ryman League division one north victory saw Hawkes’ side move up to fifth place in the table.
He said: “We are on a good run of form.
“That’s three home wins in a row, Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday.
“It was a comfortable win. I was a little disappointed we gave away a couple of goals towards the end.
“But one was a penalty with virtually the last kick of the game.
“The boys need to be praised for their performance. They are committed and their work-rate is very good."
Heybridge will be on their travels on Saturday when they return to league action at Aveley.
