Icons – Dexys, formerly Dexys Midnight Runners
TICKETS for a special warm-up gig by Dexys in Colchester go on sale tomorrow.
The iconic Eighties band, originally called Dexys Midnight Runners, will appear at Colchester Arts Centre next month.
They will perform new album – One Day I’m Going To Soar – as well as favourites such as Come On Eileen and Jackie Wilson Said.
Stafford Glover, executive producer at the Colchester Arts Centre , says: “The show will be made up a live performance of their new album, played in sequence, followed by a few Dexys’ favourites.
“This is an exclusive warm-up show, so you won’t get a better chance to see them in such an intimate environment.”
