A man has been left in a life threatening condition after his car overturned.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the collision in Creeksea Ferry Road, Canewdon, at around 9.20pm yesterday, Wednesday, June 20.
Fire crews from Hawkwell and Rochford worked to free him after he became trapped in the car.

Firefighters worked to steady the vehicle and were able to release the person by 10.45pm.
He was left in the care of the ambulance service.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We received reports that a blue BMW M6 Coupe crashed and ended up on its roof.
"A man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
"A girl, aged in her teens, was taken to hospital for further checks.
"We are trying to establish the circumstances around the crash and we would like any information or dash cam footage that can assist in our enquiries.
"Please call the Serious Collision Investigations Unit on 101 quoting incident 1399 of 20/06 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
