A WOMAN is desperately seeking the kind-hearted stranger who returned her lost handbag - complete with all its contents.
Debbie Kingham was shopping in Sainsbury’s, Rayleigh, when she accidentally left her handbag in her shopping trolley in the trolley park and drove off.
As soon as she realised she rushed back to the store to try and retrieve it, but it had already gone.
She went into the store to see if it had been located, but sadly no luck.
Originally she thought it had been taken, but learnt that she had in fact left it in her shopping trolley before driving off without it.
She was therefore thrilled when she got home in Constitution Hill, Benfleet, and a neighbour said a man had dropped off her bag.
She said: “It had all my cards, keys, bank statement, and phone in it so I hate to think what could have happened if it had fallen into the wrong hands.
“I just really want to thank him.
“I am so grateful to him.
“It was so nice - you don’t get a lot of people doing that.”
The Michael Kors handbag was pink, grey and cream and she left it in the trolley about 11.30am.
The gentleman dropped it off at her house at about 12.30am.
She would love to get in touch with whoever it was to thank them.
