A generous youngster has had several inches of her hair cut off to help children who have lost theirs through illness.
Mum Hannah Holloway, of Hockley, said daughter Lyla had wanted to cut her hair short for years, and then found out about The Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children who lose their hair while going through cancer treatment.
She said: “She said she had “too much hair and some poorly kids have none” which “wasn’t fair” and that she wanted to “make poorly girls feel pretty again”.
“She has told anyone and everyone that would listen about her idea.”
Lyla had her hair cut on Thursday and has raised more than £500, which will also go to the charity. Visit justgiving.com/fundraising/hannah-holloway1
