Man charged after armed raid at house - and a number of imitation fire arms recovered
A man has been charged following an incident which saw armed police swoop to a residential road.
Police were called to reports of concern for the occupants of an address in Somerset Road on Monday.
Specialist officers attended.
A 46-year-old man was arrested and a number of imitation fire arms were recovered.
Brian Walters, 46, of Somerset Road, Basildon has been charged with coercive or controlling behaviour and appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court today.
