THE holidays might be over and the weather getting colder, but the fun continues with ball pools, slides and games at Laindon’s Stay and Play centre.

The family-run centre, which is based in Durham Road, has plenty in store for youngsters and their families.

The centre is packed with activities, climbing equipment, inflatables and a mini indoor pitch for football and basketball, so visitors have lots to do during their stay.

Sarah Walby, 43, who owns the centre with her husband Kevin, 45, is keen for everyone to stay warm and have fun inside and is looking forward to welcoming any new visitors through the doors.

She said: “We have different areas for different ages so everyone can have fun and play safely.

“There is a football pitch which is very popular and there is a separate baby area with push along toys.

“We have a ball pool, which has an airflow system so the balls can blow up in the air and there are climbing areas too.

“For the over fives there are curly stairs, tunnels and some big bumpy colourful slides.

“We have lots of offers for after school and for childminders too.”

The centre also holds a monthly disco on site, with January’s event happening on Friday, January 27.
