A MAN will appear in court charged with trying to murder a plainclothes police officer who was repeatedly stabbed.
Andrew Beadie, 20, of Claremont Road, Basildon, was arrested following the incident in Bow, east London, on November 21.
He was charged with attempted murder and two counts of affray, along with Janine Morris, 24 of Rainhill Way, Bow.
Morris was also charged with assisting an offender.
Two teenagers have been bailed after they were arrested on Thursday in connection with the incident.
The 16-year-old boys have been bailed to a date in mid-January along with a 20-year-old from Bedfordshire on suspicion of assisting an offender and a 17-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Beadie and Morris will appear at the Old Bailey on January 4.

The officer remains in hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
