CHILDREN can have some monster fun at the Royals shopping centre during Halloween.

Accompanied by professional Dinosaur Wrangler, Chris Coulson, and three ‘baby’ dinosaurs, a four-metre long, nine-foot tall Tyrannosaurus Rex recreation will be the star attraction of a creature feature coming to the Southend shopping centre during the Halloween weekend.

The Royals’ Little Royalty team will be hosting a fun-filled Jurassic-themed day with free, dinosaur-themed arts and crafts, games, singing and, of course, face painting.

Bring your cameras, dress up your little palaeontologist and prepare to come face to face with this incredibly realistic raptor.

Dexter and his friends will put on four 15-minute shows throughout the day, between 11am and 4pm.

Chris will be on hand to share his knowledge and passion for dinosaurs while also hoping to inspire a new generation of dino fans.

Centre Manager, Dawn Jeakings, said: “As a massive fan of the Jurassic Park movies, I’m so excited that Dexter, Wrangler Chris and the baby dinosaurs are coming to The Royals.

“Dexter will amaze, entertain and interact with our visitors. He’s simply the beast.”

Although Dexter is fond of a hug, the Royals’ very own King of Cuddles, Ryan the Lion, and his gang will be on hand to join in the fun and make sure everyone has a happy Halloween.
