Local children will be treading the boards at the Thameside Theatre in this year's pantomime Sleeping Beauty, starring Jeff Brazier as the handsome prince.
Auditions recently took part for the panto, which will run from December 4 until January 3 and many local children and young adults were chosen to be in the cast.
The lucky youngsters are: Danni Keogh, 16, of Stanford-Le-Hope, Tyla Keogh, 16, of Stanford-Le-Hope, Maisie-Jay Chapman, 13, of Woking, Lauri Fordham, 12, of Hornchurch, Sophie McDonald, 12, of Stanford-Le-Hope Charlotte Ellis, 10, of South Benfleet, Katie Raven, 11, ofChafford Hundred, and Phoebe Ellis, 11, of South Benfleet.
They will be joined on stage by fellow performers Marisa Robinson, 16, of Rainham, Olivia Carruthers, 13, of Rayleigh, Tiana Robinson, 11, of Rainham, Patsy Cleary, 11, of Chafford Hundred, Ella Gibson, 12, of Grays, Francesca Sams, 12, of Grays, Marcus Clarke, 15, of Tilbury, Alfie Ivil, 14, of Rayleigh, Alicia Howard, 14, of Corringham, Monique Talbott, 14, of Purfleet and Amber Rixson, 15, of Grays.
Others taking part include Abby Williams, 14, of Woodford Green, Lulu Layland, 10, of Grays, Olivia Newbery, 10, of North Stifford, Georgia Jackson, 11, of Hornchurch and Layla Jo Kennedy, 11 of South Ockendon.
More than 96 children turned up for the auditions and Darren Maddison of Polka Dot Pantomimes and Choreographer Vikki Bussell were very impressed with the high level of ability from all the youngsters.
They will meet up in November to start rehearsals before the big opening on Friday 4 December 2015.
