POLICE have appealed for witnesses to an assault in South Woodham Ferrers.
The incident occurred at around 10.40pm on Saturday, April 25, outside The Railway Public House in Hullbridge Road.
Two men were involved in an altercation outside the pub, during which one man, aged in his thirties and from Chelmsford, suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Another man, aged 35, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed until Mat 26, pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Chelmsford CID on 101.
