Police arrests in trading standards investigation
POLICE raided a house in North Benfleet, as part of an investigation in to fraud and money laundering.
Officers executed a search warrant at the house in Harrow Road, at about 10.40am on Monday.
A 26-year-old man from Romford and a 17-year-old from North Benfleet were arrested in Hunter Avenue, Shenfield at about 11.25am on suspicion of fraud and money laundering.
The arrests were part of an Essex Police investigation in to rogue traders.
The police helicopter was launched over Benfleet while officers carried out the raid.
The pair were released on police bail, pending further enquiries until March 31.
