IT’S the 108th Orsett Show this weekend.

The show runs from 9am to 5pm on Saturday at the showground off the A13, five miles east of the M25 junction 30. Parking is free.

There will be marquees featuring horticulture, agriculture, hobbies and handicrafts, and more than 100 trade stands.

In the centre there’s an ever-changing programme of exciting displays in the grand ring.

The show, which is expecting about 12,000 visitors, supports charities Have a Heart and St Luke’s Hospice.

Impulse Leisure, in Blackshots Lane, Grays, has promised to take a variety of fun activities to the event.

As well as the Impulse Roadshow, which includes mini-trampolines, dance mats, Tanita scales – which measure your body fat percentage and body composition – and a rowing machine, Impulse will also be bringing the Move ’n’ Smooth’ smoothie bikes, which give you the chance to make and take away your own healthy smoothie.

Visitors will also get the chance to have photos taken with Impulse’s fruit characters, Ben and Groovy, as well as see demonstrations and performances on the Impulse stage.
