Car fire blocks busy road as fire crews extinguish blaze
A ROAD was left blocked by a vehicle fire.
There were delays in Via Urbis Romanae, Colchester, shortly before 4pm on Thursday.
A section of the road from the A12 junction 28 through to Axial Way was left blocked as emergency services dealt with a vehicle fire.
An Essex Fire Service spokesman confirmed it was contacted at around 3.23pm.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 3.45pm.
