COGGESHALL'S top team of flower-loving volunteers are hoping for a good result after wowing judges with their hard work.
The team of around 12 showed the Anglia in Bloom judges around the town when they visited last week.
Sue Wilson, the chairman of Coggeshall in Bloom, said she was pleased with how the judging went.
She said: "It went very well, it's been nice to see so many people make and effort with tubs or hanging baskets outside their homes.
"The judges were late arriving which was frustrating - it was important to keep to schedule for us because the community bus we used was needed at the train station.
"But once they were here it went well and we're confident that we're going to get a good result."
The volunteers face a long wait to learn their fate, as results of this year’s competition will not be revealed until the Anglia in Bloom awards ceremony which take place in Bury St Edmunds on Wednesday, September 12.
