TENDRING’S Blue Ribbon business awards has launched a revamped website ahead of nominations opening next month.

This year’s ceremony, on October 4, will be the third time the annual awards have been held in the district.

Tendring Blue Ribbon, set up by Jamesons Accountants, Barclays Bank and Tendring Council, celebrates and rewards excellence in the business community.

In all there are 15 categories, 14 of which firms can enter and the prestigious Judges’ Award. Nominations will open on Monday, May 14, and companies have until mid-July to submit their entries ahead of judging over the summer.

Zoe Fairley, councillor responsible for investment and growth at Tendring Council, said there were countless businesses thriving in the district and it is right to celebrate their successes.

“They provide vital services and jobs for residents, and their ongoing success deserves to be recognised,” she said.
