A collection of artwork created by primary school children is on display at Braintree Town Hall.

The pictures, designed by pupils from year two to year six, form a visual representation of the Biblical story of creation.

Pupils from Great Bradfords Infant, White Notley, John Ray, Bocking, St Michaels and John Bunyan schools participated in sessions on creation run by Christian Youth Outreach.

Sheena Mill, one of the organisers of the events, said: “We were so delighted by the variety and standard of the art work produced and wanted the children, their families, teachers and the general public to be able to enjoy looking at it and seeing it all put together to form one display.”

The art will remain on display until Thursday, February 8.
