APPRENTICE star Ross Fretten was the guest speaker at a business event in the city.
Ross, from Chelmsford, who starred on the BBC One show before being “fired” by Lord Alan Sugar, appeared at Chelmsford City Council’s ninth annual Showcase for Business event.
As managing director of the dog training app Kibble, he hosted a discussion titled ‘Is technology ruining your business?’
During the talk Ross shared his learnings and experience working with some of the biggest brands in the world at OgilvyOne, as well as some of London’s smallest start-ups.
He also shared proven methodologies that every business needs to use in order for their customers to love their product.
In planning for the event, Ross said: “I’m really excited to meet like-minded entrepreneurs as well as experienced minds at this year’s Chelmsford Showcase for Business event.
“I believe opportunities will increasingly present themselves to surrounding areas such as Chelmsford over the next five to 10 years.
“I’m excited to be presenting about technology-first versus customer first-businesses, why the former nearly always fail and how you can ensure your business is the latter.”
