There was severe disruption across the Greater Anglia network as Storm Aileen battered parts of Essex this morning.
Trains between Braintree and Witham were cancelled for a short period this morning after tree fell on the line.
A signalling issue at Kelvedon also meant trains had to run at a reduced speed towards Liverpool Street and are running behind by ten minutes.
Lines reopened at about 9am, but delays are expected until 11am.
#WhiteNotley - Train services between Witham and Braintree are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled. RS
