TWO people had to be cut out of their cars following a crash in Burnham.
Firefighters were called to Maldon Road at about 12.42am this morning.
The crash involved three vehicles and fire crews worked with paramedics to help release two people trapped in the vehicles.
They were released by 1:45am and left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
Two ambulances, an ambulance officer and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance medical car attended.
One patient with a suspected leg and hip injury and another patient with suspected neck and leg pain both were taken to Broomfield Hospital.
