A PLANE was diverted to Stansted Airport after two drunk women were taken off the flight by police for being disruptive.
EasyJet flight EZY1821 from Manchester to Antalya, Turkey, was diverted at about 4pm on Wednesday so the two women could be removed.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “The women were removed from the flight and issued with penalty notices for public order offences.”

EasyJet said its cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
