Teen is sent to youth offender panel after admitting making indecent images of children
A TEENAGER must see a youth offender panel for a year after he admitted making and possessing indecent images of children.
The teen, from the Witham area, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with eight counts of making indecent images and five counts of possessing indecent images.
The offences happened between April 9, 2015 and February 21, 2016.
The 17-year-old admitted all counts when he appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on March 17.
The court also applied for a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
