MINI ghosts and ghouls are being invited to special Halloween extravaganza.

Cressing Temple Barns are hosting a half-term Halloween event on Thursday and Friday, where children can come along in costume and take part in a whole range of spooky activities.

Running on the 27 and 28 October the event invites young ghosts, ghouls, witches and wizards to come along for a day full of activities to get them in the mood for Halloween.

There will be spooky stories, told by a member of the Leigh Storytelling Circle.

Themed puppet shows will take place throughout the day from The Fool’s Puppet Theatre Companie.

Those able to complete a series of themed trails, including puzzles to solves and pumpkins to find, will be rewarded with a sweet treat and much much more.

Councillor Simon Walsh, Essex County Council cabinet member responsible for environment and waste said: “Cressing Temple is the perfect setting to host this family event.

“With Halloween supposedly being the scariest night of the year and celebrated by people all around the world, I’m sure this event will get everyone in the mood for some Spooky Fun.”

Tickets cost £8 and can be purchased from www.visitparks.co.uk/events/spooky-fun.
