ARE these men the most pointless vandals in Colchester?
This video shows two men force the barrier open at Jumbo car park, in Balkerne Passage at 3.30am.
The first man emerges from darkness and tries, but fails, to push the barrier open from the outside.
A second man is then seen to waddle into shot and inspects the side of the barrier.
The pair then appear to chat between them before a car pulls up.
The first man then leans on the barrier from the inside of the car park and it opens.
Bizarrely, having opened the barrier completely, the pair disappear from view and do not return.
The CCTV was released by Richard Gilbert, who owns the car park with his wife.
He has offered a £500 reward to anyone who passes information which leads to the prosecution of the men.
The incident took place on the morning of July 8.
