A HEARING centre raised £900 at its charity golf day.
The Hearing Care Centre, in Headgate, Colchester, organised the fundraiser in aid of the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People charity.
Vicki Skeels, managing director, said: “We are bowled over with the continuing generosity of our players, sponsors and supporters.
“Modern hearing aids go a long way in restoring hearing. However, there is a limit to what they can do for profoundly deaf people and this is where a hearing dog can prove so valuable.”
