CLACTON’S popular beer festival will this year raise money for a testicular cancer charity.
The festival, run by the Tendring branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra), takes place from August 26 to 29 at St James’ Church Hall, in Tower Road, Clacton.
This year, money raised from the event will go towards the Testicle Tour, set up by cancer survivors Darren Couchman and Richard Miller, of Clacton.
Beer festival organiser Jeff Luesley said: “The organising committee feels this is a great opportunity to support a very important cause.
“We are always very grateful for the support we receive while organising the Clacton Beer Festival and it is nice to be able to do our bit for this innovative and vital project.”
