A woman is appealing for witnesses after rude notes were left on her car and it was badly scratched.

Danni Pickering, 31, returned home from a holiday on Monday to find four rude notes, the wing mirror damaged and scratches on the side of the car.

The hairdresser said: “I always leave my car in Mill Chase, Halstead, as we don’t have parking along Head Street.

“I don’t think I was badly parked - I have been driving for 15 years so I know how to park.

“I was tucked in out of the way.

“I was really angry when I saw the notes.”

She believes the scratches were made by another car.

“If they had to leave the notes, they could have been polite,” she added.

“There was no need to swear.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Essex Police on 101.
