Paramedics and ambulance crews were called to Witham this morning after a young schoolboy was in collision with a car.
The boy, who attends Powers Hall Academy, was crossing Powers Hall End at about 8.30am today when the collision occurred.
The ambulance service sent an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer to the scene, who treated the boy for minor injuries to his ankle.
He did not need to be taken to hospital.
