A CREW member from a schooner holiday boat had to be evacuated after falling seasick.
At 1.50pm on Saturday the ship, off Walton on the Naze, requested radio medical advice for a sick crew member.
They were connected to Queen Alexandra Hospital and it was decided to evacuate the casualty to shore on the RNLI Walton and Frinton Lifeboat.
A spokesman for SchoonerSail, which runs sailing holidays, said the passenger had suffered a severe case of sea sickness.
