A YOUNG entrepreneur has pitched his revolutionary watch attachment idea to top businessmen in an effort to help his project win a huge cash boost.

Stuart Scott, 21, of Hewitt Road, Ramsey, has come up with an idea called Digitocks, a refittable watch addition that links to the wearer’s phone.

Mr Scott has entered the idea into Sir Richard Branson’s Pitch to Rich Campaign and travelled to Brighton to pitch in front of Crowdfunder founder Rob Love and the inventor of iPhone app Dubsmash Jonas Druppel.

If he gets enough votes, Mr Scott could end up pitching in front of Sir Richard himself.

He said: “I was chosen to pitch in Brighton with two other entries last week and it was quite an experience.

“This was a practice pitch to iron out any flaws in case I make it any further and it gave me a few more votes from the audience, who happened to be competitors in the same contest, so it was a tough gig.”

Mr Scott is currently fifth in his category out of more than 560 entries, but still needs backing to ensure he progresses in the competition before polling closes on Tuesday.
