A Braintree entrepreneur was a finalist in the prestigious Network She Foundation International Women’s Day Awards.
Amanda Sweeney, 29, of Forsyth Drive, in Braintree, set up the Music Bubble Network several years ago, which aims to give up and coming artists a platform to make it big.
She said: “Having been in the music industry in many roles, over many years, I realised there was a huge amount of talent going unheard due to a lack of funding.
“I'm a big believer in building your own path to success and so the Music Bubble Network was born."
