A HEALTH charity has revealed its latest projects.

The Harwich Fellowship For the Sick  has handed over the keys to a £9,500 car for the Emergency First Responders in the town.

Honorary secretary Sheena Parsons, said: "The First Responders group is of paramount importance to our community.

"The white Kia Rio carries the logos of the Harwich and District Fellowship For the Sick and Harwich First Responders."

The group of 13 volunteers is also in the process of purchasing 14 public access defibrillators, which will be sited around the town for cardiac emergencies, costing £16,744.
