CHARITABLE Lions in Clacton are set for a busy month as they raise money in the run-up to Christmas.
Clacton Lions will be helping Santa spread some festive goodwill while collecting for good causes.
Two of the main winners from this year’s collection are Clacton and Walton lifeboats.
Many other local charities and groups will also benefit, as well as the Clacton Lions Charitable Trust, which provides longer-term help for local charities.
Members of Clacton Lions will be joining Santa as he takes to the streets of Clacton from December 8.
Father Christmas will also be at Tesco`s Brook Retail Park, Clacton, from December 1 to 3, at Fiveways, Brightlingsea, on December 12 to 13, and at Morrison’s, Little Clacton, from December 16 to 24.
Santa and his helpers will be collecting between 6pm and 8.30pm in Aylesbury Drive, Holland-on-Sea, on December 8, Hillside Crescent, Holland-on- Sea, on December 9, Kings Avenue, Holland-on-Sea, on December 10, Carisbrooke Avenue, Great Clacton, on December 11, Kiln Barn Avenue and Farmleigh Avenue, Great Clacton, on December 13 and York Road, Holland-on-Sea, on December 15.
