Residents are being urged to keep their garages and sheds secure after a spate of burglaries.
Burglars removed the padlock on the front doors and removed tools from inside between 9am and 5.15pm on Wednesday last week.
On the same day, between 8.30am and 6.30pm, a shed in Steeple Bumpstead was forced open and a Sumo SML34GEN generator, valued at £120, was removed.
Between 8am on Saturday and 10am last Sunday, a storage container in Pentlow, Sudbury, was damaged, but no items were stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to call Braintree Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.
