A 67-YEAR-OLD man was threatened to hand over money during a burglary at his home in Clacton.

The man was asleep in the bedroom of his flat, in Epping Close, when he was woken up and ordered to hand over money.

The two robbers broke into the flat at about 12.45am on Sunday.

They then searched the flat and took a small safe containing cash, a brown briefcase containing paperwork and a black Nokia mobile phone.

The two suspects were both dressed all in black. One was said to be taller than 5ft 9in and of skinny build and the other was shorter, but of stocky build.

After leaving the flat they are believed to have left in the direction of Havering Close and Jubilee Avenue.
