FAMILIES in Manningtree who are struggling with rising debt can get free help and advice.
Last week the Standard revealed nearly one in five families in Harwich and north Essex were being forced to rely on credit cards and loans to make ends meet.
However help can be sought at The Hub in Manningtree with a course on money management.
The free course is open to everyone and provides training to help people budget and can help people seek professional debt management support if needed.
The Money Management Course is provided by Christians Against Poverty and is suitable for those already in debt, those fearful of getting into debt and those who just want to organise their finances a bit better.
