Maldon: Couple's pains miraculously healed

A couple who both suffered from irritating pains in their bodies have said they were miraculously healed at a church service.

Vuokko and Steve Forster, from The Quay, Maldon, felt their ailments mysteriously disappear during an anniversary service in Kingsland Church, Tiptree.

Retired nurse Mrs Forster, 60, had suffered from pain in her knees for years.

She said her doctor had put it down to old age.

She said: “I have been so used to feeling severe pain and stiffness in my knees for so long.

“I couldn’t walk up and down stairs or bend very well.”

She decided to ask to be healed after she had twisted her knee, making it hurt more than ever.

She said: “There was such a noticeable difference after the prayers, my knees were bending so well afterwards, further than they ever had in years."
