Maldon: Plans to create 13 jobs to be turned down?
A new play centre in Maldon could create 13 full time jobs if plans are given the go ahead.
But Maldon District Council has recommended the plans for refusal on the grounds that in the long run they would not allow for “substantial employment opportunities” at an empty unit on Wycke Hill Business Park.
Paul Wheeler has applied for a change of use from light industrial to leisure use at unit two, which used to be home to Maldon Print Company.
