Maldon: Police appeal for witnesses to attempted theft
Police are on the lookout for two men seen attempting to smash a car window with a brick.
The men were spotted trying to break the window of a Vauxhall Corsa in Bates Road, Maldon, at 10.20am on September 24.
Officers believe they were trying to get a purse which had been left on show in the car.
The first of the men was described as about 22-years-old and wearing a blue hoody, while the other was on a bike and wearing a white hoody.
Any witnesses are urged to contact Maldon police on 101.
