South Woodham Ferrers: Lead thieves cause water damage to surgery
Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole lead flashing from the roof of a town centre doctor’s surgery.
Clements House Surgery in Knight Street, South Woodham Ferrers, was targeted between 6.30pmon September 25 and 8am the following morning.
The theft also caused internal water damage to the surgery.
Sgt Perry Land, of South Woodham Ferrers police, said: “Bearing in mind this happened in the town centre, we would hope that someone would have seen something suspicious.”
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101.
