Heybridge: Crooks attempt to steal Land Rover
Thieves attempted to steal a Land Rover in Heybridge, but got no further than the end of the road.
The 4x4 was taken from Hall Road between 5pm and 9pm on September 25, but was abandoned further down the same street.
Sgt Perry Land, of Maldon police, said he suspected that the thieves had tried to tow the vehicle, which had no battery.
Anyone with any information is urged to call police on 101.
