Althorne: Couple kick the habit of a lifetime
A couple have finally ditched the fags after smoking a staggering 15,000 cigarettes every year.
John and Lesley Bersey, who have smoked since they were teenagers, will be celebrating their smoke-free victory by putting all the cash they have saved towards a holiday.
The Althorne duo used to smoke about 40 cigarettes a day and had tried patches, gum and fake fags in a bid to kick the compulsion.
