Maldon: Club donates £600 to charity
A generous Maldon club has donated £600 to charity.
Maldon 41 Club, which was established in 1971 and currently has 33 members, raised the money for the Essex Community Foundation during former chairman James Mann’s year of office.
The money will be used to support voluntary and community activity across Essex.
41 Clubs are in place across the country and are otherwise known as the Association of Ex-Round Tablers' Clubs.
They are social networking organisations for former members of Round Table, who are aged over 40.
