A father is up in arms amid claims his son is facing exclusion from lessons because he is not wearing school policy shoes.

Ormiston Rivers Academy pupil Luke Aspinall has worn the same style of black leather Vans for 18 months, but his angry father, Mark Aspinall, claimed had now been told to buy new shoes.

Mr Aspinall said: "How can they justify sending my child out of class just because of his shoes?

"It's disgusting and ridiculous."

well if you just get the correct shoes in the first place he would not loose out on lessons, they are the rules of the school they are only trying to get everyone to follow, if you worked in a office up london you would not wear a smart suit and trainers, in life you have to follow some rules even if you dont think it is right,
