Essex: Train delays after person hit by train
Commuters are experiencing delays of up to an hour on Greater Anglia services this morning after a person was hit by a train at Brentwood station.
A number of services, including trains from Braintree, have been cancelled during the morning rush-hour.
A Greater Anglia spokesman said: "Following a person hit by a train at Brentwood all lines are now open.
"Train services running through this station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 mins at short notice.
"An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed."
