Heybridge: Residents angry over recycling centre smell
Furious residents are kicking up a stink over a lingering smell that they say is making their lives a misery.
Among those affected by the problem, which allegedly comes from Green Recycling’s plant on the Quayside Industrial Park in Bates Road, Heybridge, are Eleanor and Gary Bacon, of nearby Hall Road.
The couple say the rotting smell is having a huge impact on their day-to-day lives.
Mrs Bacon said: “It makes you heave if you’re outside and it’s probably happening three times a week."
