One of Burnham’s most popular meeting places celebrated its 100th anniversary last week.

The town’s Constitutional Club, which was officially established on August 29, 1912, marked its centenary with a host of celebrations throughout the week.

Hundreds of members celebrated at a members party on Saturday night, which featured food, drinks and a Rod Stewart tribute act.

The party atmosphere started on Wednesday, the anniversary day, with a meal and champagne reception at the Contented Sole restaurant in Burnham’s High Street.
